What services does S+H Steel provide?

S+H provides structural steel fabrication and erection.

Having experience on both sides of the steel scope gives our team a practical understanding of how decisions made in the shop affect scheduling, coordination, and installation in the field.

When should S+H get involved in a project?

As early as possible. Getting S+H involved before the steel package is fully locked in allows our team to review the project, identify potential challenges, and look for ways to simplify fabrication or erection. Early coordination can mean fewer surprises later.

Does S+H work with structural engineers?

Yes. Early collaboration with structural engineers can help identify opportunities for value engineering and constructability before changes become more difficult or expensive to make. Our goal is not to change the intent of the design. It is to help find the most practical path to getting it built.

Can S+H help with value engineering?

Yes. When brought into a project early enough, our team can evaluate the steel scope from a fabrication and erection perspective and identify opportunities that may improve efficiency or reduce unnecessary cost. The earlier those conversations happen, the more options the project team typically has.

What industries does S+H serve?

Does S+H handle both fabrication and erection?

Yes. S+H is both a structural steel fabricator and erector. That experience helps us coordinate the steel package from the shop through installation instead of treating fabrication and field work as two separate problems.

Is S+H AISC certified?

Yes. S+H maintains AISC certifications for its structural steel operations and has held established industry credentials for many years.

Where does S+H work?

S+H has been operating in Arizona since 1983 and has completed projects across the state.

Our experience includes work throughout the Phoenix market and across Arizona's commercial, education, government, and industrial sectors.

What does S+H need to provide a quote?

Every project is different. Send us your project information and available plans or bid documents, and our team will review the scope and connect with you regarding next steps. Request a Quote →

What happens after I submit an RFQ?

Our team will review the information you provide and follow up to discuss the project, scope, schedule, and any additional information needed. No complicated handoff. You will hear directly from the S+H team.

How does S+H approach project schedules?

When we commit to a schedule, we treat it as a commitment. For more than 40 years, S+H has built its record around consistent planning and execution. That record includes zero 48-hour notices caused by S+H and zero liquidated damages events.

How does S+H manage quality?

Quality control starts before steel reaches the field.

Our process is built to identify and address issues during fabrication rather than after installation. Across more than 2,000 projects, S+H's record includes zero warranty callbacks.
